Calling things by their name.

A few days back i saw a post on the Web about Wheel scamming, they had a video about the proccess and everything: https://goo.gl/onCGZL

The thing is, thats a proccess called “regrooving” which is carving out the rubber in the grooves of a tire in order to create additional tread depth. And its perfectly legal under the right conditions.

Regrooved tires are acceptable on some types of vehicles providing that “Regrooveable” is indicated on the sidewall of the tire: https://goo.gl/7W1UtW

We are not saying that maybe the technique has been used to rip people off, just saying that only irresponsible people are doing it. And the article i read should have made that difference.

We recommend you to check the Legal aspect on your state here: http://goo.gl/Ybv7FP
